This product is an aluminum yttrium master alloy containing yttrium, which can make needle and flake eutectic silicon become granular, and reduce the bulk of primary silicon; It can obviously refine the grain size and secondary dendrite spacing. It can significantly improve the heat resistance of aluminum alloy, improve the strength, elongation and wear resistance, and reduce the thermal expansion coefficient at the same time; The uniform corrosion resistance and acid corrosion resistance of the surface of the aluminum alloy are obviously improved. Adding proper amount of yttrium to industrial pure aluminum and Al Mg Si alloy can improve conductivity and reduce resistivity.

It is suitable for long-term modification of eutectic and hypereutectic Al Si alloy (metal mold casting) or addition of Yttrium element.

Aluminium-Yttrium(AL-Y) Usage

1、Bake and dry before use.

2、Adding temperature: 720 ～ 760 ℃.

3、Dosage of this product: the dosage of Yttrium Y is 0.1-0.5% (generally 0.2-0.3%), and the dosage of master alloy is converted accordingly.

4、Adding method: after refining treatment, raise the temperature to the required temperature, remove the scum, lightly put the product into the aluminum liquid, stir evenly, stand for 10-20 minutes, remove the slag and pour the test rod. When the fracture inspection is normal, pour it.

5、Fracture inspection: size of test bar in front of furnace Φ twelve × 100, normal fracture is gray white velvet, with dense structure and no silicon bright spot.
